| History |
| |
| Klank Studio started in September 1988. With
a Tascam 8 track tape recorder and a D&R 16 channel mixing
board, we found a place in the centre of Tegelen.
A control room and a studio room were realized, even as a large
bedroom and kitchen. This became handy because the Klank
technicians did also live sound on tours trough Europe, and a lot
of bands stayed here on their days off. |

| From then on, hundreds of bands
came to Klank studio to record their album. DeeDee Ramone, Nina Hagen, de Heideroosjes
where amongst them. |

| 10 years later, the studio became too small, and a new place
was found. A bigger control
room (25m2), a machine room, a bigger studio room (40m2) and a
vocal booth does the job now.
Also new equipment has been
bought and now the studio is a full digital working space
(Pro-tools 8 HD) with a lot of nice tube pre-amps and a nice
selection of studio microphones. |
